IEA senior delegation led by Acting Foreign Minister Mawlawi Amir Khan Mouttaqi who has traveled to Tehran at the invitation of Iran, met today with Dr. Hossein Amir Abdollahian, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran.

Today, 6th March, 2023, 268 Afghan Nationals, who were imprisoned in Iran, were released and handed over to the Afghan government as a result of the negotiations and agreement between the two countries.

Based on decree No 683 of the IEA’s Supreme leader, the distribution of passports has begun in Afghan embassy in Tehran, obliging all the ministries of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan to provide necessary facilities and solutions to problems of the citizens.
